In-House Workshops

Our in-house workshops bring the training to you.

We can tailor one- to five-day workshops specifically to meet the needs of your organisation and deliver with maxium flexibility, in your own venue for your added convenience. This represents a very cost effective as well as expedient option, allowing savings in time, travel and accomodation. All of our courses can be delivered in-house, or we can design one specific to your needs. Recent in-house workshops have included our five-day Health Assessment Skills Workshop, the three-day Paediatric Minor Illness course, as well as specialty ENT, paediatric, and dermatology workshops.

Our customers range from PCTs, Walk In Centres to Acute Trusts, a residential school and the independent sector. Delegates have included Community matrons, Practice Nurses, Health Visitors, School Nurses, Senior Hospital Nurses and physiotherapists. All events have been extremely well-evaluated and have resulted in demonstrable role enhancement and increased confidence. We will provide all equipment including examination couches and instruments, as well as study packs, certificates of attendance and feedback.

Continuing Professional Development

We are a major provider of CPD and can deliver advanced workshops tailored
specifically to individual needs. We specialise in workshops for local nurse practitioner groups and nurse prescribers and have a wide range of topic options available. Contact us if you would like to discuss details. We also have a new Paediatric Minor Injury day which may be of special interest to school nurses.

Follow-up days

We can also provide follow-up days after an in-house course to consolidate learning and further enhance skills.

These days, designed for small group learning, use a case-study approach and focus on real cases drawn from the day to day practice of delegates, ensuring relevance to specific local needs. Our customers range from PCTs, walk-in centres to acute trusts, the independent sector, and a residential school. Delegates have included community matrons, practice nurses, senior hospital nurses, pharmacists, occupational therapists and physiotherapists.
